The township of South Algonquin is located on the east side of Algonquin Provincial Park's Highway 60 corridor and runs from Whitney, through Madawaska and ends on near Spectacle Lake. The township also extends south along Highway 127 to MacKenzie Lake, and south along Highway 523 to just past Cross Lake.
